Linecard!

Here are pictures of the linecard and how it would look printed out.  I would print it on thicker paper, because the images bled through a little to the other side.

My Book Jackets, Part 2

Here are some photos of my book jackets for Cold Mountain and Thirteen Moons by Charles Frazier.

Independent Project: done!

I was a little worried about this project when it was introduced, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do or how to go about it.  It was actually my mom’s idea to do something for my uncle’s company.  So I have been emailing him and getting information and pictures for it.  The linecard is 8.5″ x 11″, and is going to fold in half.  I put the logo for the company on the front, along with my uncle’s name and phone number.   The logo was actually designed by my sister and it looks great so I’m excited to use it!  The inside of the linecard has the name of the company on top and short description of what the company does.  I included a few pictures of the actual presses that are worked on.

Group project is done!

We finished our group poster! I think we did a good job show the differences between modernism and post modernism.  To make it better, we could have included a title or something like that to say what exactly we were showing, maybe something like “Modernism vs. Post Modernism.”  But overall I think it was a success and definitely shows the differences between modernism and post modernism, both through the words and text, and the picture on top.

Independent project

We all had to do an independent project on our own for some kind of business or non-profit organization.  I chose to make a linecard for my uncle’s company.  It is called Big Bear Press Repair, and they sell, repair, and install printing presses.  The linecard gives a short description of what the company does, lists the address and phone number, and has some pictures of the presses that are commonly worked on.  It’s a work in progress, but I am happy with how it is coming out!
